Mission Statement
Posted on September 28th, 2008 by Garrett BoonThis mission statement is a long time coming. I started this website back in 2003 and started my business in 2005. But I feel the need to go ahead and come up with some goals and values for this website to help keep me on track.
During my first year in college, I had the opportunity to take a class called Adventure Business and Management. This class inspired me to begin thinking about making a mission statement for GarrettsBridges.com. To help me come up with this statement, I have identified three values which I consider integral to the way I run this website. These values apply to both the business and the informational aspects of GarrettsBridges.com.
Values:
Customer Service: Making sure every customer is completely satisfied.
Excellence: Providing quality and accurate advice for building model bridges
Education: Working to help students learn about the concepts and not just giving answers
Mission Statement:
The mission of GarrettsBridges.com is to provide Excellence in Education and Customer Service to help students of all ages learn about model bridges.
I am posting this so that y’all can help keep me accountable to follow this mission statement and uphold these values in everything I do on this website. I value constructive criticism; if you see something that needs to be changed please let me know.
These three values and mission statement stem from an even higher goal. The ultimate goal of this website is to glorify Christ. This makes up the foundation of everything I do. Sola Dei Gloria.

FT! I am stoked because I didn’t realize WordPress made it so easy to do exactly this!
I made a post about it, but here is what you can do. Register a free account on this site here:
http://www.garrettsbridges.com/wp-register.php
Then shoot me an email with your username, and I will upgrade the account so that you can make your own post for your bridge. You can upload photos and everything.

I would love to see pictures of your bridge. It would be a great idea to add an upload form so people could put their own pictures on here. I will definitely look into doing that.

Hey FT, you are most welcome. Could you explain a little more about your suggestion of adding a new section?
Were you thinking of a place where people could upload pictures and info about bridges they made?

Hey Garrett…. listen this is the best website and the help you have given me has made this project go much smoother. I also wanted to say thanks for the interview also I promise that I will inform you of my results so you can know the impact you had on this project.
Also i was wondering if you could make a section of your cite for guest bridges for people like me so you can see the result of your advice on other people first or what ever bridge their on.
