hi, im doing a project on which truss design is the strongest and i wonder if you can help me on it. can you recommend me to any good sites where i can find good information? *im not saying that yours isnt helpful)(its helped me understand what they are and how to design one but i have to make them all equally strong) send me a email once you read it thanks

Hi. I am actually building a model bridge like this for my physics class. I am not the best cutter or gluer so I was wondering if you had any tips that I could use in order to help the bridge withstain the twenty-five pounds of weight that it will be tested with.

I’m designing a bridge out of balsa wood with the Pratt truss and it is required to sustain 50lbs of load in the center. I can’t figure out how lay out the road of the bridge. I tried to see how you did it by looking at your final results but I’m stuck. The members in the center of the truss which are under compression are as wide as the members running parallel to the ground so there is no room for a plank to rest on the members that run parallel to the ground. Any ideas?
