Hi, I just wanted to share the excitement…by using ideas from your website (recommended by my son’s Cub Scout leader) my son Jackson and I were able to build a Popsicle bridge with approximately 125 sticks. It set a new record by holding 500 lbs. for about 15 seconds before breaking! Thanks for the great ideas…not bad for the first try! Mark from Fenton, MI

This year, I am competing in a tournament held by a university. I just hope that you can e-mail me about the best bridge model ever designed

It doesn’t look like it could hold too much, if the weights were put on the top. A Popsicle stick positioned horizontally can hold about 7lbs. Wouldn’t those sticks break?

i recently finished a bridge building project, our bridge was 250 grams and held 539 pounds, had we not run out of weight and had to go get more we might have topped 600 with ease
